Riko

Riko is the main protagonist of Visiosubrideophobia. She is in search of her missing sister, who has vanished a few days ago.

She figured out where her sister worked and hiked up to the location to get to the bottom of this situation.

Riko is cold and calculating but has a soft side for her sister and close friends, she is also luckily pretty athletic which will be helpful for what she will soon encounter.

Kammi

Kammi is Riko's sister, she is energetic and bubbly. Kammi works at XL Labs, specifically one of the locations in Japan.

Kammi enjoys studying the mysterious objects and creatures XL Labs captures, getting a few breakthroughs every now and then with her studies.

But recently she has gone missing and has not contacted anyone in a few days.

Smiley & Depraved Form

Smiley is one of the specimens that was unexpectedly created then contained in the XL Labs location in japan.

He was born out of a power surge, taking the form of a organic emoji with arms & legs.

His skin feels and looks like fabric, but is actual skin & flesh.

Once he was created he caused some chaos along with the other emojis that got birthed, but were quickly contained to prevent more damage.

This quick containment caused Smiley to antagonize his captors, hating most of the human race for containing and experimenting on him.

Smiley has a mischievous and chaotic personality. Usually insulting the scientists who study and experiment on him.

Some XL employees were nice to Smiley and over time they won him over a little, he was nicer to these employees but still didn't want to follow most orders he was given, but would talk to them a lot more.

At one point, the scientists started an experiment to see how long Smiley can last without food or water.

It lasted a few days, nothing seemed to be happening until the last day of the test.

Smiley was on his knees in the middle of his containment cell, when suddenly the lights went out.

Scientists reported hearing a lot of meaty crunch noises and bones snapping until Smiley suddenly emerged from the darkness as a tall lanky deformed version of himself.

This new form is the Depraved Form, and all of the emojis have it. When their lives are in danger from starvation & dehydration, they turn into bigger and stronger forms, designed to kill and capture prey to survive.

Once Smiley first entered his depraved form, he leaped up onto the television in the corner of his containment cell and warped through it, breaking out into the observation room directly above his containment.

He killed multiple scientists and broke out, eventually being recaptured.

This test gave all of the characters a much higher danger rating for their containments and were taken much more seriously afterwards.

Eventually another power surge happened and Smiley was able to break out of his containment with the others, which brought down the facility and left it abandoned.

They roam the facility to this day, capturing and killing anything that enters.

Rusher

Rusher was the second emoji to be born during the power surge.

The computer he was created from got hit with a lot more electricity and power then Smiley's computer, causing Rusher to form.

He is grey and shorter then the others but with a heavily distorted and twisted face. His limbs also end in shorter stumps, appearing tentacle like in appearance.

The power shocked into him has made him insanely fast and twitchy, being able to move from one side of his containment cell to the other before a human could blink fully.

He is very giddy and hyperactive, constantly wanting to move and explore his surroundings.

Because of his speed he also has a pretty short attention span and is hard to have a conversation with most of the time, but he will listen a lot more when a friend is speaking to him.

His Depraved form has given his limbs sharp edges allowing him to stab and cut through most things with ease.

Depravity also brings out his twitchiness much more and is way faster, ambushing and rushing after his prey with insane amounts of speed.

But because of his intense instinct to get food he does not think as much as the others do when hunting, and if something doesn't work the first time he'll abandon it quickly.

Spectre

Spectre was the third emoji born during the power surge, he is not solid matter but instead made out of electricity and plasma.

During the power surge, the computer Spectre was created with gained so much electricity it begun to overheat and catch fire, melting, then violently exploding as Spectre was created from the ashes.

Spectre is calm and collected, he is the smartest of the crew and usually devices the plans the crew does together.

Spectre has the ability to shapeshift, phase through solid matter, and manipulate electrical devices.

Spectre's main form he takes has one large eye, two front facing horns and teeth with large sharp fangs on each side.

Since Spectre is plasma he constantly needs to absorb energy as he can not physically eat, manipulating electricity to create a current to his body, sapping all energy from whatever he starts a current on.

If something live comes into contact with Spectre they will be violently electrocuted and burned, dying instantly as they get charred.

Brute

Brute is the fourth and final emoji born from the power surge.

The computer he was born from was abandoned and unused as it was full of unorganized files and barely had any space.

When the surge happened, all of the files were used to add to Brute's mass and give him his strength.

When Brute first came out of the computer he was soft and squishy, so he went into hiding.

He was found and captured much later then the others as he never joined in on the chaos the others caused.

Hours after his creation his skin hardened and became very tough and bullet proof, with immense strength.

Despite his power he is the calmest & friendliest of the group, following orders and allowing himself to be captured.

He still is friends with the others and will defend his friends no matter what, just stay out of his way and you'll be fine.

Σxception=

Σxception= is the last member of Smiley's crew, he was not made during the power surge.

As Smiley & Co. were experimented on, an interest in Rusher's abilities slowly grew.

Since XL Labs also has ties to militaries they wondered if they could make Rusher into the perfect killing machine, designed to wipe out armies.

They tried multiple times to re-create rusher using the same method that originally made him in the power surge all that time ago.

But nothing worked, until the last experiment.

Σxception= was born during the last experiment, a glitched unfinished version of Rusher.

At first Σxception= barely did anything, just wandering around his containment cell.

He then struck a table in the room with one of his arms and it violently glitched out then vanished.

That is when XL Labs knew they created something they shouldn't have.

Σxception= vanished soon after, but kept in touch with Smiley & Co to help plan their escape.

Anything Σxception= touches will violently glitch out and cease to exist, unless it was a live creature.

If something alive gets hit, they will glitch out then vanish to an unknown place in reality, then return as a Recordatus.

Because Σxception= can't stab or touch most objects, he is permanently in his Depraved Form.
